On March 21st, 2024, we had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Sam from Capbowl Orphanage, along with 10 children, to our third branch in Tirumalagiri for free dental treatments.

Under the care of Dr. G Amar Prasad, the children underwent thorough oral examinations to assess their dental health. Building upon the previous assessments done at Capbowl Orphanage, Dr. Prasad ensured that each child received personalized attention and care tailored to their needs.

Following the examinations, Dr. Prasad and Dr. Saba administered various free treatments, including dental scalings, GIC restorations, composite tooth build-ups, and a tooth extraction for one boy in need. Additionally, two root canal treatments were initiated, addressing underlying dental issues and restoring oral health.

Throughout the treatment sessions, emphasis was placed on reinforcing good brushing techniques, empowering the children to take ownership of their oral hygiene and well-being. Appropriate post-treatment medications and instructions were provided to both the children and Mr. Sam, ensuring that they could continue their dental care regimen at home.

As of the date of publishing this blog post, ongoing coordination efforts between Capbowl Orphanage and Brace Dental Clinic Tirumalagiri Branch are underway. Plans are being made to provide free treatments for the remaining children and to continue the root canal treatments initiated for one boy.
