Extending Care: Dental Assistance for Boys of Thara Orphanage at Tirumalagiri Branch

In a touching demonstration of empathy, Brace Dental Clinic welcomed 10 boys from Thara Orphanage to our Tirumalagiri branch on December 24th. Dr. G Amar Prasad, driven by his commitment to serving the community, sought assistance from his colleague, Dr. Naafiah Shaikh, for the noble cause of providing free dental treatments to these young boys.

Dr. Naafiah Shaikh, despite the distance and sacrificing her Sunday, traveled over 10 kilometers to join Dr. Amar in their mission. From 11:20 to 1:30, they worked tirelessly to provide free treatments for three boys. These treatments included an anterior tooth composite buildup, three scalings, and five GIC restorations.

However, despite their best efforts, they were unable to complete treatments for the remaining seven boys. Hunger struck the young boys around noon, prompting their return to the orphanage.

Determined not to leave any child untreated, Dr. Amar Prasad took action. He reached out to Father Joseph of Thara Orphanage and volunteered to bring his team of doctors and assistants directly to the orphanage premises on the following Sunday, March 31st, 2024. Preparations are currently underway to provide dental treatments for more than 45 boys and staff from 9 am to 9 pm.

This upcoming Sunday promises to be a day filled with compassion and care as Brace Dental Clinic continues its mission to ensure the dental health and well-being of these young boys. Stay tuned for updates on this inspiring journey of kindness and dedication.
