At Brace Dental, we believe in the power of inclusive healthcare and breaking down barriers that hinder access to essential services. On March 9th, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting our 42nd Free Dental Camp, specifically tailored for the LGBTQIA+ community, at QT Center, Habsiguda. This initiative was made possible through a fruitful collaboration with Mobbera Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and spreading awareness.

Mobbera Foundation, founded in 2015 by Sanidpan Kushary and Anil Kohli, stands as a beacon of hope for marginalized communities, with a primary focus on LGBTQIA+ rights and transgender awareness. Their vision resonates deeply with our ethos at Brace Dental, envisioning a future where equality and humanity flourish, where every individual is afforded basic amenities and education.

The mission of Mobbera Foundation aligns seamlessly with our commitment to inclusivity and equality. Dr. Amar Prasad, initiated contact with Mobbera Foundation in January 2024, driven by a desire to address a pressing issue within the LGBTQIA+ community. It came to his attention, through conversations with acquaintances, that members of this community often face discrimination and humiliation when seeking dental care at private clinics. Determined to challenge this stigma and provide genuine assistance, Dr. Prasad collaborated closely with Mr. Sameer, a dedicated member of Mobbera Foundation, whose instrumental role facilitated the organization of our dental camp.

Our camp aimed not only to provide essential dental health checkups but also to create a safe and welcoming space where individuals could receive care without fear of judgment or prejudice. Through proactive outreach and collaboration with community organizations like Mobbera Foundation, we sought to bridge gaps in healthcare access and foster a culture of acceptance and support.

Close to 30+ individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community benefited from our free dental camp, receiving comprehensive checkups and personalized care. Our dedicated team of dental professionals not only provided free dental scaling but also offered recommendations for basic dental restorations to those in need. For individuals requiring further treatment, we extended a generous 25% discount on the respective procedures at our Tirumalagiri Branch, ensuring that cost would not be a barrier to accessing essential dental care. Through these efforts, we aimed to address immediate dental needs while also empowering individuals to prioritize their oral health in the long term.

As we reflect on the success of our 42nd Free Dental Camp, we extend our gratitude to Mobbera Foundation for their unwavering support and partnership. Together, we have taken a meaningful step towards a future where everyone, regardless of their identity, can access quality healthcare with dignity and respect.
